Building Article Sites Just Got A Whole Lot Easier

Article Site Power KitOne of the greatest things about selling software is that I get to play with all the great software tools first!

Apart from the fact that by doing that I can offer better service to my clients, it also gives me the chance to come up with ideas, and enhance my own business.

The past year has seen a lot of programs appear, but one of my favorites has to be the Article Site Power Kit!

This program takes a bunch of articles that follow a common theme, and builds them into a website in a matter of minutes.

Along the way, it adds Adsense and Amazon codes to make the site an instant money spinner for you.

I built a Coffee Website here to show you.

An interesting thing about the site is that the pages on the site take turns at being the index site, so that as far as the search engine spiders are concerned, the site is updated regularly.

All the pages are linked to each other, and all have relevant ads displayed on them.

This site is as it was when I first uploaded it!

I’ve deliberately left it this way so as to show you what could be possible with a little more time and effort.

Of course, you can build a site based on any subject, not just coffee.

For site content, you can use PLR (private label resources) material, write it yourself, or go to a site such as Freelance Articles and download it from there!

Another option is to pay someone to write it for you. Writers can be found on Elance.com, but remember, you get what you pay for.

By always going for the lowest price you may find that quality suffers.

Ok, how much does this great piece of software cost? There are two versions, and I recommend the pro version because of the extra features.

It comes with a no questions asked 30 day money back guarantee.

Important Notice: I cannot make any guarantees about how much profit you may or may not make with this software - that depends largely on your choice of topic, keywords and how you promote your website.

Free Wordpress Plugins And Themes

WordpressOne of my favorite themes for Wordpress is Prosense by Dosh Dosh and the Wrong Advices.

I use Prosense on this blog, as well as on Coffee With Allan and find it very easy to play with.

The theme comes in a couple of different colors, and is built with adsense in mind.

I removed almost all of the text ads from the theme, preferring to advertise specific products, or none at all.

The thing to remember with free themes is that the author has the right to leave their link on the template. This is a small price to pay.

Another designer of great themes and web templates is Andreas Viklund. Andreas has a number of free, and commercial templates for a number of different platforms, so if you’re looking for something unique, visit his site!

The two free plugins that I am reviewing here are Comment Luv, and MaxBlogPress

Comment Luv helps to make your blog a more social place, by displaying the last blog post that your commentors have made. I use this on all my blogs, and find that people just keep coming back!

The MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer prevents your wordpress blog pinging the search engines every time you click ’save’ while editing your blog.

Why is this important? Well, it prevents you from being labeled a spammer by the search engines for a start…

Watchman Pro Free Software To Monitor Your Website

Watchman ProTo celebrate the relaunch of Software Kings, I am giving away a number of free software programs.

The first of these is Watchman Pro an application that sits in your system tray, and alerts you if there is any change to your website, or if it goes ‘down’ for any reason at all.

There are commercial services that do an excellent job of this, and who will email you if there is a problem with your website or blog.

These services are handy, but if you’re anything like me, you can get busy and not check your email for ages.

Watchman Pro checks your site at intervals that you set, and alerts you if there is any change.

Please note: You have the right to download the software and give it away or sell it if you like, but not to alter it in any way.

Simply follow this link to download this website monitor.

If you try it, please leave a comment and let me know what you think of it!

Related Posts Wordpress Plugin

Related PostsOne of the things that I like about Wordpress is the ability to extend its functionality by the use of plugins.

It is fitting that the first post on this blog is about a free plugin that I have found very handy on my blogs, Related Posts.

Since installing it on Coffee With Allan I have found that people are staying longer, and reading more posts on my blog.

This is a webmaster’s dream come true, and has made me an evangelist for this plugin.

Where Related Posts comes into its own is on a wordpress blog with a number of different topics being discussed.

The plugin works by finding keywords relevant to the post that is being viewed, and searches for relevant posts on the blog.

To demonstrate, I will do a couple of plugin reviews, and the links will appear below this post!
