Free Wordpress Plugins And Themes
One of my favorite themes for Wordpress is Prosense by Dosh Dosh and the Wrong Advices.
I use Prosense on this blog, as well as on Coffee With Allan and find it very easy to play with.
The theme comes in a couple of different colors, and is built with adsense in mind.
I removed almost all of the text ads from the theme, preferring to advertise specific products, or none at all.
The thing to remember with free themes is that the author has the right to leave their link on the template. This is a small price to pay.
Another designer of great themes and web templates is Andreas Viklund. Andreas has a number of free, and commercial templates for a number of different platforms, so if you’re looking for something unique, visit his site!
The two free plugins that I am reviewing here are Comment Luv, and MaxBlogPress
Comment Luv helps to make your blog a more social place, by displaying the last blog post that your commentors have made. I use this on all my blogs, and find that people just keep coming back!
The MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer prevents your wordpress blog pinging the search engines every time you click ’save’ while editing your blog.
Why is this important? Well, it prevents you from being labeled a spammer by the search engines for a start…
